Carmen Bassler is Engagement Manager at artec. In this position she coordinates and is responsible for projects to place management positions. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Hohenheim and a Master of Science in Business Psychology from the Private University Schloss Seeburg, where she is currently completing her PhD in Social and Economic Sciences. During her studies, Carmen Bassler gained valuable practical experience in various management consultancies, where she was able to successfully apply her theoretical knowledge in practical projects.

In her current position, Carmen Bassler leads the recruitment team at artec and works with her team to ensure that highly qualified executives are recruited in a targeted manner. She is also the expert for the WDYS ('Why Do You Stay') projects, which focus on employee retention and the development of strategies for employee satisfaction and retention. 

Carmen Bassler recruits for management positions in the industry/automotive, energy and (luxury) consumer goods sectors. artec's clients include international medium-sized companies, listed groups and public sector organisations.

Hans is International Partner and Co-Leader of the Global TRANSEARCH Industry Practice. Hans embarked on his executive search journey in 2000 when he joined a well-known European search company in Frankfurt. In 2003, he joined TRANSEARCH Germany and has led the global TRANSEARCH industry practice since 2005. His focuses are C-level positions and leadership and board consulting. Since 2020, he has served as Regional Chair Southwest Germany of FEA (Financial Experts Association e.V.), a professional association of non-executive board members with focus on finance.

Hans' previous management career includes 10 years at Honeywell as product manager, international marketing director, and head of a global business unit. Hans started his career as a project and operations manager at two family companies, pioneering innovative air quality control solutions in buildings.

Hans holds a degree in engineering from the Technical University of Cologne (1984) and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau (1987). Hans is fluent in German, English, and French. He is married and has two daughters and one grandson. Since 2020, he has also served as the INSEAD fund ambassador for Germany and for his MBA class, promoting "Business as a Force for Good."

Hilmar Doering is Managing Partner of TRANSEARCH International Germany. He holds a degree in economics (University Göttingen, UCLA) and a PhD in Business Administration/Corporate Management. He has extensive international management experience from mid-size companies, family-owned businesses and groups of companies, assignments abroad, and has been Executive Board Member of a 1bn+ € company.

Hilmar has a strong background in international Human Resources. He has been responsible for filling numerous Top Management positions and for coaching Top Managers. Other responsibilities included regions, international sales, finance, IT, legal & compliance. He acquired distinct expertise in transforming companies/company functions as well as general experience in change management.

Before joining TRANSEARCH as Managing Partner, Hilmar was partner of a renowned Executive Search Boutique.

Dr. Joerg Elias has extensive industry and executive search experience. His focus is mainly in the automotive, aerospace, and machinery and equipment sectors as well as other highly technology driven industries.

Joerg started his professional career as a core team member of the Global Automotive Practice Group of the top management consultancy A.T. Kearney. He then joined Saab Automobile AB in Sweden, where he held managerial positions in the functions advanced engineering, production, purchasing, and marketing. His executive search career started with Egon Zehnder International, where he was member of the Global Automotive Practice Group and headed the Chemical Practice Group in the DACH region as well as the Global Aerospace Practice Group. Joerg then joined the industry again, where he was responsible for production and quality management for the food container service company Cartonplast. There, he implemented a food safety management system according to ISO 22000. He returned to executive search in 2015 and followed a call to become a professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich for the service industry in the automotive sector.

Joerg studied mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering at the TH Darmstadt and the TU Munich, and he holds a Master of Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He earned his PhD at the TU Braunschweig working for the German Aerospace Research Establishment.

He acquired broad international expertise with extended stays in the USA, Sweden, Austria, Brazil, and Italy and is fluent in German, English, and Swedish.

Sandra Haindl is a Client Partner at TRANSEARCH International. She is an acknowledged expert in the Food & Beverage and Consumer Packaged Goods industry with more than 20 years experience in advising clients on recruitment, assessment and succession topics.

Sandra conducted a range of assignments for a diverse client base including leading multinationals, small and medium-sized public and family-owned companies as well as venture capital-backed companies. She is focused on executive roles in the areas of general management, sales, marketing, production / supply chain, finance and quality. She brings in-depth industry knowledge and a well-founded network.

Prior to joining TRANSEARCH International, Sandra Haindl was a Partner at Rau Consultants, an executive search boutique specializing in the food industry. Previously she worked as an Associate Consultant at Spencer Stuart and in Research at Russell Reynolds. She started her recruitment career as Recruiting Manager at Bain & Company.

Sandra leverages her research focused background and her client centric approach to discover, attract and develop the best talent. She is passionate about helping companies build great teams that deliver lasting success.

Following her management training in tourism she studied business economics at the Fernuniversität Hagen. She speaks fluent German and English.

Thomas Hellmann is Executive Global Partner & Shareholder of TRANSEARCH International.

He started working in the executive search business in 1991 after finishing University Education with an MBA. As an Executive Search Consultant he is working with the focus on positions in Sales & Marketing, Finance Management, Engineering, Construction, Supply Chain Management, HR Management and General Management.

He started as Partner and Member of the Management Board with TRANSEARCH in 2010 coming from a leading German executive search firm where he stayed for eight years since 2002 as Managing Director.  Thomas is based in Frankfurt. His specializations are Industry & EPC Business, Automotive, Resource Energy & Infrastructure and Supply Chain Management.

Sven-Uwe Hess is a Principal with the Frankfurt office. The graduated economist worked for more than 15 years as a consultant in executive search. After officer training in the army and study at the University of the Bundeswehr in Hamburg, Sven worked for several years as a search consultant at Fenner & Partner Personalberater / Interselect Human Resources Consulting in Frankfurt and Berlin, and from 2002 to 2010 with Plaut Personalberatung GmbH in Frankfurt.

His specializations are industry, mechanical engineering, chemistry, electrical engineering, and professional services, and he fills positions in executive and middle management roles. His focus functions are sales and marketing, production, R&D, and finance and administration.

Michael Kauselmann studied at the University of Heidelberg and has been working for TRANSEARCH International Deutschland GmbH since 2012. The political scientist M.A. started his career in HR consulting for strategy consultancies in 2007 and has supported numerous executive search projects worldwide to date.

As a Senior Principal, he and his team of dedicated researchers are responsible for candidate recruitment and assessment as well as project management and key account management. Michael Kauselmann has over 10 years of experience in the automotive, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, retail, logistics, and consulting industries, among others.

Dr Edgar Kirchmann is an Executive Global Partner at TRANSEARCH International and has more than 25 years of experience in international executive search. His studies in industrial engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, with a focus on computer science and operations research, laid the foundation for his successful career. Following his doctorate, which was supported by a scholarship, he completed an international postgraduate programme.

Dr Kirchmann began his career as an assistant to the board of directors at Asea Brown Boveri (ABB), where he was quickly promoted to become the youngest managing director of a subsidiary. Today, he supports leading companies in a wide range of industries, usually in the context of long-term partnerships.

As Global Head Digitalisation & AI Transformation at TRANSEARCH International, Dr Kirchmann combines his expertise in executive search with in-depth knowledge of digitalisation and artificial intelligence to develop innovative solutions for filling management positions.

He is also a member of the Advisory Board of TRANSEARCH International Partners in London.

Dr Kirchmann holds a Master of Science in e-Business and has published numerous articles on topics such as human resource management, organisational development and innovation management. As a board member of ROTARY, he is also actively involved in social and community projects.

Linda Littmann is Engagement Manager to Dr Edgar Kirchmann and acts as his direct deputy. In this role, she is also responsible for strategic project work.

Through her collaboration with Dr Kirchmann, Ms Littmann is part of the Global Practice Group AI Transformation, where she is actively involved in innovative solutions and the design of future-oriented transformation projects.

As the daughter of an entrepreneur in the process industry, Ms Littmann has a strong background in process engineering for chemical and petrochemical plants. At a young age, she founded, successfully developed and subsequently sold her own company - an impressive demonstration of her entrepreneurial skills.

Her strong international background is reflected in her language skills: Ms Littmann is a native speaker of German and Spanish, is business fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of French and Italian.

Ms Littmann is also actively involved in diversity and inclusion. In cooperation with the Charta der Vielfalt e.V., she is the Diversity Officer of TRANSEARCH International Germany.

Carlo Mackrodt is Managing Partner at TRANSEARCH International. He has 30 years of experience in executive management positions as well as top management consulting and executive search, with a specialization in family-owned companies in the consumer, automotive, industry, and technology sectors. One of his main areas of interest is “leadership in the age of digital disruption.”

He started his career as an R&D manager in the field of materials processing science, followed by almost a decade in the restructuring and strategic procurement practice of KEARNEY. He left KEARNEY to help manage DCI, a marketplace start-up, as an executive board member. After its IPO, Carlo joined HENKEL, where he held several international executive positions in IT, finance, supply chain, and production.

Carlo holds a PhD in engineering with a focus on casting technologies and a degree in business administration.

He successfully completed several post-graduate executive programs at IMD, INSEAD, and Thunderbird University.

He grew up in Florence, Italy, and gained international experience with assignments in the USA, England, Brazil, Italy, and Sweden. Carlo is fluent in German, English, Italian, French and Spanish. He enjoys the mountains, likes whitewater kayaking and skiing, and actively practices Aikido.

Nicolas Martin joined TRANSEARCH from 2010 to 2013 after several years at a renowned German executive search and selection company. He then moved to a market-leading German HR consulting and executive search company, where he was a director in the service line executive search at the Stuttgart office. In 2019, Nicolas returned to TRANSEARCH as the Managing Partner of artec management consultants, the German subsidiary that focuses on middle management positions and medium-sized clients.

Nicolas fills management positions in the industry, automotive, energy and utilities, and consumer sectors. His clients are medium-sized family-owned businesses, large public listed groups, and public authorities. He is also experienced in advising the supervisory and non-executive boards of his clients.

Nicolas holds a master’s degree in communication, social psychology, and economics from the Ruhr-Universität in Bochum.

Andreas Späth studied law at the University of Tübingen. He worked for several years as a lawyer specializing in labor law before switching to personnel consulting in 2005. Here, he initially specialized in the advertisement-based search for executives and technical experts.

In 2008, Andreas Späth joined the TRANSEARCH Group, where his focus is on filling national as well as international executive positions in the industrial, energy and automotive sectors.

Marcel Staudinger is Client Partner at TRANSEARCH International and has over ten years of experience in Executive Search.

A certified psychologist with an additional MBA in General Management, Marcel successfully established and led a Life Sciences division as a Director and Partner before joining TRANSEARCH. His extensive expertise in this field enables him to understand the specific requirements for leadership roles in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical technology, chemical, and food industries.

Marcel Staudinger specializes in filling key positions in areas such as Sales & Marketing, Operations, R&D, Medical Affairs, Quality & Regulatory, Human Resources, Finance and General Management.

Audrey Terracher-Lipinski is Senior Engagement Manager at TRANSEARCH International Germany in Frankfurt. In her role, she successfully coordinates and manages executive search projects. The area of responsibility spans various industries and requires a deep understanding of client needs as well as the ability to identify and attract highly qualified professionals.

She began her career in the hospitality industry, including banquet and event management in London and Singapore. These experiences not only honed her teamwork and communication skills but also developed her ability to solve problems efficiently and formed the basis for her future career.

Audrey Terracher-Lipinski therefore went on to study Social Economics at the University of Hamburg and completed a Master's degree in Economic and Sociological Studies at the University of Hamburg. Subsequently and prior to her work in executive search, Audrey Terracher-Lipinski was a research assistant at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg for seven years, specializing in economic sociology.

In addition to German, she is fluent in French and English.
